Warren War

September 12-14, 2008

Greetings to one and all!

The Shire of Shittemwoode would like to thank Their Excellencies, Aquaterra and Lions Gate for the honor of battling it out for the rights to the blessed Royal Hunting Preserve September 12th -14th

We appreciate everyone's patience as we solidify our site and copy about this great annual event.

COPY CORRECTION: Due to the calendar shift, Stromgard will not be in attendance this year but hopes to devend their "Northern-most Lands" next year.

The theme of the event will be Agriculture or more directly Agronomy - a branch of agriculture dealing with field crop production. We plan on having Ithra classes, Guild displays, Bardic and many contests related to this theme.

7 War Points will be allotted as follows: 1 Field Combat (open field, bridge & castle scenarios), 1 Archery, 1 Rapier, 1 Bardic, 1 Arts, 1 Sciences and 1 Service.

Bardic point entries must characterized by the event theme. Arts point entries shall be a documented, head-worn item. Science point entries shall be a document, agricultural tool (sorry no animals qualify) Service points will be awarded by volunteers claiming their service for gate, safety watch, waste management, setup/take down to a Baronial roster.

We want Merchants! All are welcome to come hauk you wares at this great end of season event. Base site fee plus an optional largess donations to the prize pool gladly accepted. Contact Autocrat for roster.

Other fun things we are hoping to have are the annual Peasant Revolt, a siege cooking contest, Torchlight Tourney the famed kitch contest and many more. We are also hoping to field youth and non-heavy combatants for a Noodle Melee as the first wave of the war so bring your helms and noodles!
